Wythe Presbyterian Vacation Bible School
Saturday July 31st – 9:00am-3:00pm
This year, we are trying a one day model for our Bible School. Our Theme will be based on the Cokesbury’s “High Seas Expedition” - Acts 27 –“ God’s Word is Comforting”
Wythe will be supplying Lunch as well as snacks for the Children. Registration begins at 8:30am. Each child will have their picture taken in our Thematic Cut-out and will receive a copy to take home with them. There will be a supervised free- time play time until the children go to the Gathering Welcome Assembly at 9:00am.
The Welcome Assembly will includes introduction of the Theme, the Music, and the Drama, as well as the introduction of the Station and Crew Leaders. Morning Snack will be provided between the gathering and the first break out rotation.
After the Gathering, the Children will be divided into (4) different age appropriate crews, each led by a crew leader. Their crew leader will lead them to the four rotation stations, which consists of Bible Story – Music – Crafts – Games.

10:10am-10:45am Activity Period 1 – rotate
10:55am-11:30am Activity Period 2 – rotate
11:40am-12:15pm Activity Period 3 - rotate
12:25pm – 1:10pm Lunch with Bible Story Video
1:20pm – 1:55pm Activity Period 4
2:00pm-3:00pm Closing Assembly with Music, Review Bible Story
Sunday August 1st - 11:00AM
Be sure to join us for the Sunday Morning Worship and a Pictorial Slide Show of the best VBS moments. The Children will be performing a special music presentation and Pastor Dave will be using the VBS Theme to tie into the Worship Service.
After the service, there will be an old fashioned Cook Out with Hotdogs and Hamburgers (provided), and side dishes such as potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, and we will end our celebration with an Ice Cream Sundae Bar.
